The short answer
Every YouTube company serving real estate agents runs one of three models. The right one depends on how much time you can give it, not on who has the best sales page.
- Done-for-you production. You film about an hour a week; the company handles strategy, scripts, editing, thumbnails, SEO and publishing. Best for busy top producers who want the result without a new part-time job. This is the model we run.
- Done-with-you coaching. A strategist works with you weekly on packaging, titles and performance, and you stay close to the craft. Best for agents who want to learn the machine, not just own its output.
- Multi-channel brand agencies. YouTube is one pillar alongside email nurture and short form. Best for teams funding a broader local media brand, with budget to match.
Side by side
| Model | Your weekly time | What you are really buying | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Done-for-you | ~1 hour of filming | A production system and a team. Output volume and consistency are the product | Shops that edit anything for anyone. Niche focus is what makes videos rank |
| Done-with-you | 3 to 6 hours incl. calls and managing your own production | A strategist's judgment and your own growing skill | Results depend on your follow-through between calls |
| Multi-channel brand | Varies, usually the most | A coordinated presence across platforms | YouTube can get diluted when it is one of five deliverables |
Where we sit, stated plainly
YourTube Team is a done-for-you operation, and a deliberately narrow one: real estate agents, YouTube, nothing else, since 2022. That focus compounds. We are at 100+ active agents and 7,000+ published videos, every one organic with zero ad spend, and agents who film consistently typically see a 10 to 20x return on their investment by the end of year one.
Our client results have been covered on Lab Coat Agents, the largest online real estate community: how one of our New Jersey clients turned data-driven YouTube content into $400K+ in GCI and a 20 to 25 lead-a-month machine. We also write a guest column on YouTube strategy for the Lab Coat Agents community, which is where many agents first find us.
And we are not the right pick for everyone. If you want deep weekly coaching and to master the craft yourself, a done-with-you strategist will serve you better. If YouTube is one piece of a bigger brand and database play for your team, a multi-channel agency fits. And if you cannot commit to filming weekly, no company in any model can save you; run ads instead.
Seven questions that expose a weak operator
1. How many real estate channels do you run right now? Volume is the only teacher on YouTube. A company learning on your channel is charging you for its education.
2. Show me named agents in markets like mine, with lead and closing numbers. View counts are not a pipeline. Any serious company can produce clients who will say the leads were real.
3. Is any of this paid traffic? Organic and paid results look identical in a screenshot and age completely differently. Ask which is which.
4. Who exactly does my editing, scripting and SEO? One founder with contractors and a 20-person production team are different products at a similar price.
5. What happens in my first 90 days? A real answer names research, a content calendar and published videos. A vague answer means improvisation.
6. What do you need from me, honestly? The honest answer in every model includes consistent filming. Anyone who says you barely need to show up is lying about the platform.
7. When would you tell me this is not working? Companies confident in their system know what on-track looks like at month 3 and month 6. Ask for it.
Ask those seven of everyone you talk to, including us. The companies worth hiring will enjoy answering them.
